I'm In The Spotlight!!!!

WOOOHOOO!!! I received an e-mail this morning from CTMH corporate office letting me know that I was being recognized for being in the top rankings for selling the most Studio J layouts during the month of November!  I was one of the Top 10 sellers out of all the CTMH consultants!!! So in honor of that, I thought I would share some of the layouts I created in November.  Some of these I ordered duplicates of, as I used these to make albums for my parents and my husband's parents.  I spent less than 24 hours creating all these layouts:

If you have not tried Studio J yet, I encourage you to do so.  It is truly Faster, Simpler, & Easier!!!! I also have a step by step tutorial for you if you would like for me to e-mail it to you to help you get started.

It's Time for a New Year!!!!

Let me just start by saying, I absolutely love being a CTMH consultant and in 2011, CTMH is making some changes that's going to make me love them even more! To begin with, we are going to only have 2 Idea Books per year instead of 3. However, in each book, there are 8 - yes 8 - new paperpacks and too many to count new stamp sets.  And oh the new buttons and embellishments!!! Oh My Word----it;s going to be great!!!! But you can't see all the new stuff until February 1. But CTMH has designed a special brochure full of sneak peeks for January called Inspirations and there are some super-duper fantastic deals with this sneak preview.

Click here to look at the brochure.  If you order the Wings WOTG and 3 other items (which could be stamp sets at a substantial savings) you can get the January Stamp of the Month for FREE!!!!!  Now that's what I'm talking about.  Let me know if you would like to place an order!

Check my blog on January 3 for some links to some fabulous artwork created using the new products!!!!

Art & Soul --- Pulling It All Together

WOW!!! I forget how great CTMH's Art & Soul videos are.

I just watched the latest one on my website and I have some new techniques I will be trying out the next time I'm in my scrappin' room (which is hopefully Thursday).  I encourage you to take 15 minutes to watch this latest episode found here and then anyone who makes a project using one of the featured techniques will have their name entered in a drawing for some great scrappin' treats!!!! E-mail me a picture of your project and I will post it here as well as add your name to a drawing!

Here is an overview of what you will find:
  • Stamping on mixed media
  • A great new marbling technique using liquid glass
  • New ways of using the mix & mingle album
  • Layering in Studio J
Check it out and while you're there you can watch some of the other videos as well!!!!

Happy Anniversary (of our first date)

Last year, my hubby & I decided that since the kids are all getting older and independent, that we would start doing a get-away day on December 26th each year in honor of our first date anniversary. So this year we went to Orlando to the ICE & SNOW Experience at the Gaylord Palms Resort. It was amazing - -they have brought in 2 million - yes 2 million - pounds of ice to depict the story of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas with nothing but ice sculptors. It was breath-taking. Then they have also brought in 40 tons of snow to create a fun-filled snow carnival. We had a snowball fight and went down the snow hill!!! For us Floridians - this was a real treat. But the best part of the day was simply getting to spend the day together!!!!

All of this was made with ICE!!!!

Holiday Dough!!!

I got this cute little gift idea from a fellow CTMH consultant (Terrie Dodd).  I typed the poem on my computer, inserted a gingerbread man clip-art. rolled some money and viola ----

I think this is so much better than just giving money or a gift card!

A Few CHRISTmas Cards

I love blog hopping and finding cute cards to scraplift!!!! I worked on making a few more CHRISTmas cards this weekend.  Two of them are totally lifted from two fellow CTMH consultants and the third was completely my creation.

The first one is using B&T from Magnifique, Sky cardstock, snowflakes from my Cricut, white ribbon, and heavenly blue bottons.  Super simple and super cute. This was lifted from Leisa Hubley.

This next card with the stacking presents comes from Vicki Wizniuk - again another super simple & cute card!  I love finding cute cards that I can lift!!!!
Front of Card
Inside of Card
Now this last card is totally my own creation --- WOOOHOOOO!!!! I think it is very simple yet focuses on the most important part of CHRISTmas - -Jesus!!!

  • 5 x 3 3/4" Cocoa CS

Well let me introduce you to my granddaughter --- Tenley Beth:

So after finding out that the baby is a girl ... I went shopping for PINK clothes! It was so fun and I did have some control,  but I can promise you Tenley Beth will have a present under Grandma's Christmas tree!!!!

I Am Thankful For...

Again this year, many people have been posting daily “Today I am thankful for….” on Facebook since November 1. I actually started doing that; however, I got side-tracked and didn’t keep up. So I thought I would simply list the top 25 things in my life I am thankful for. So here goes:

1. My salvation – without a doubt is what I am most thankful for because without my salvation, I would be absolutely nothing!
2. My husband – for the love we have for each other and how wonderful he is to me and this family.
3. My children --- Katie & Eric, Britt, Jake & Tara, & Jordan
4. My grandbaby – due April 24
5. My parents and the godly example they have always been
6. My in-laws --- I have the most caring and amazing in-laws
7. My siblings & the friendships we have with each other
8. My nieces & nephews
9. My Flip-Flop besties!
10. Godly friends – too many to name!!!!
11. A Bible-believing, spirit filled church
12. An AWESOME youth group
13. Good health
14. Mercy & Grace
15. Forgiveness & Unconditional Love
16. The Bible
17. Jake’s willingness to serve God with his talents
18. Jordan’s desire to serve God 100% and for the stand he has taken at school
19. The spiritual growth I have seen in Britt & Ron in the last several months
20. My job
21. Our house
22. Bills are paid, groceries are in the cabinet and the freezer is full!!!!
23. A comfortable bed to sleep in every night
24. To live in America
25. Scrapbooking

I pray that everyone has a wonderful & blessed Thanksgiving and let’s always remember to be thankful for all we have everyday!!!!

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 16:34

My Baby is 16!

It is so hard to believe that my baby is now 16! We had a great time yesterday (Nov. 20) celebrating his birthday with family and friends. We gave him his truck (a 1992 Ford F150 with a new paint job) and he was so excited.  As you can see from the photos below, his truck is even part of his testimony. It is sucha  blessing to celebrate all of our children;s birthdays, but his is extra special due to all that we went through on our journey with cancer several years ago.  We thank God that we can celebrate not only Jordan's 16th birthday but it also means another year of being cancer free!!!! Love you buddy!  (You can read about his journey  at
