I got this cute little gift idea from a fellow CTMH consultant (
Terrie Dodd). I typed the poem on my computer, inserted a gingerbread man clip-art. rolled some money and viola ----
I think this is so much better than just giving money or a gift card!
I love this....but I can't see the poem. What does it say?
ReplyDeleteGingerbread man with yummy icing
Deleteare oh so good and extremely enticing
I set out to make a dozen or two
but ran out of time. oh what do i do
So instead of the cookies i tied a bow
your own personal serving of holiday dough!
Thanks for this darling idea for money gift.
DeleteThere are parts I can't read either.

what is the money holder made of?
ReplyDeleteAngie, I had some clear bags that are for the 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" cards that I used. Any type of clear bag would work.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a CLEVER idea...so much more personal than just a gift card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Better then money in a card! Ty

DeleteI love this idea, very creative and easy!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove this for Christmas........At Easter we put a dollar per plastic egg and since we dont have dollar bills in Canada anymore we use American ones and the kids freak out big time especially when the us dollar is high. The only down fall is getting them at the bank because they will only give you 5 to 6 at a time.
ReplyDeleteI am making these for my 6 hard to buy for, they just want money, nephews this year instead of gift cards -- found some cute gingerbread man ornaments to put with each one and the clear bags were in the cake decorating section at Hobby Lobby! Just need to print out the poem and get the dollar bills at the bank now. Thanks for sharing the cute idea!
ReplyDeleteSuch a simple yet cute idea! Going to use it this Christmas for my nephews :) Thank you for sharing your idea.
