Studio J --- Digital Scrapbooking

Close to My Heart is unveiling a brand new program called Studio J. It is Close To My Heart's version of digital scrapbooking...but since it is so much better than any other digital program out there, we are calling it Studio Scrapbooking. It will be available during the next couple of months for customers.  However, as a CTMH consultant I have had the opportunity to play with it!!!! Tonight was the first night to play and in less that one hour I had the following layout completed:

Studio J is absolutely free to 'play' with and create gorgeous layouts.  This can be used as a planning tool or a creation tool --- create layouts, order them and place them in your album!!!  What a quick, easy & beautiful way to preserve your most treasured memories!

While you are waiting for it to go live, you can register as a member of the Studio J website for FREE, and that will make you eligible to have a chance to win a brand, new Cocoa Linen Album. To do that, go to http://www.studioj.com/ and register in the upper right hand corner. There is also a link here to watch a special video that shows a little more about this awesome new tool.

Who Am I?

“Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?” I Chronicles 17:16

I have recently finished a Bible study about the life of David and this is a question that David asked in the form of praise to God after realizing that in spite of his many failures, God still loved him and planned to bless him and his family. During this study was the first time that I ever really remember reading this verse. I’m sure I have read it before or at least heard it in a message at some point, but for whatever reason, it has never meant so much to me as right now. There are so many things in my life that I can take a step back and ask “Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?”  It amazes me at how blessed I am that God chose me and has brought me as far as He has because I know that I am so undeserving of even one morsel of His loving-kindness, mercy, grace, love, forgiveness, or blessings. Yet He showers me with all of this and so much more. I am so unworthy but because of His unconditional love and unmerited favor, He has decided to bring me exactly where I am!  Thank you my Lord, my Savior, my God!

Here are a couple of layouts from last year depicting who I am and I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am who I am because of my Lord & Savior!

Thank You Gifts from My Holiday Homie!!!!!

In October my wonderful CTMH upline, Melissa R., started a "Holiday Homie" exchange. She decided to call the exchange "Holiday Homies" rather than "Secret Santas" or "Secret Sisters" because when mailing things all over the country, it is a little challenging to keep it secret. Participants were asked to send hand-created papercrafting gifts to their Holiday Homie around Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with a thank you gift sent, in return, around the New Year. I ended up being Melissa's Holiday Homie.  (WOW - what a challenge to create gifts for her -- -she is our inspirational leader!!!!)  Well, I did --- I made her an altered Halloween coaster frame, dry-erase board and an all sorts mini album.  (I have posted all these on previous posts).  Apparently, she liked them all because yesterday I received an AWESOME thank you package from her with all of teh following gifts.  How blessed I am to be a part of such a wonderful team.  You can check out her blog by clicking here.

Happy New Year!

WOW, I cannot believe it is 2010!!! It amazes me at how fast time goes by and yet it seems like it goes faster and faster as I get older and older - LOL!

In 2010, my main goal is to be more dedicated in my worship of my Lord & Savior.  He blesses my life so unbelievably, yet I take Him for granted so often.  I realize that when I am in sync with Him, then all the other areas of my life are also in sync.

So for 2010 here is my top ten goals for a better and more sincere life:
 1. Be more consistent with daily Bible study & quiet time with God
 2. More consistent prayer life
 3. Focus more on my family
 4. Learn to be a better listener
 5. Create a faith book / journal
 6. Walk 2 - 3 times / week
 7. Eat healthier
 8. Take a digital photography class
 9. Be wise about finances -- control my spending
10. Enjoy life

May God bless each of you.  My prayer for us all in 2010 is that we all learn to "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."  Proverbs 3:5-6
